Bookings are only made once full payment has been received. Unfortunately, we do not accept any tentative bookings.
Payments are made at the time of booking unless otherwise stated and agreed to by Compass Formal and the customer.
Any changes/amendments can be made to your order up until 1 month prior to the date of your event, at which time changes can only be made if agreed upon my Compass Formal. Absolutely NO amendments or deletions are permitted within 4 days of the event date. Bookings are transferable to another date (subject to our availability) - Refer to Cancellations Policy below for more detail.
All orders must be confirmed via email no later than three weeks before your event date. We take no responsibility for any errors or omissions once you have confirmed your final order. It is your responsibility to check all details of flowers and quantities are correct. This includes flower types, colors, style and amount required. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any item(s) ordered are fit for their intended use.
The flowers and Products shown online are representative of color scheme, look and feel, overall style, and value rather than a literal interpretation of the delivery. Specific containers and/or flowers will vary in some cases due to designer interpretation, availability, or need to meet our quality standards. While substitutions may be necessary, a great effort will be made to keep the same look and feel of the arrangement, using flowers and products of greater or equal value. Minor substitutions may be made without prior consent or approval from the Customer.
The date, time, and location for delivery and retrieval of products must be supplied by the customer to Compass Formal at least 1 week prior to the event. Customer pick-ups are not permitted unless specifically agreed to by Compass Formal. We will do our absolute best to deliver when you request us to. We allow 30 minutes on either side of any given time, to allow for good/bad traffic and any delays we may come across. If we are going to be earlier or later than 30 minutes either side of your scheduled delivery time, we will be in contact with you ASAP to give you an ETA. The cost of delivery, setup, and retrieval of products are dependent on the event location(s).
Venue and Location Limitations
Compass Formal is limited by the rules and guidelines of the location(s) and site management. Negotiation with the officials for moderation of guidelines is the responsibility of the customer; Compass Formal will offer technical recommendations only. Reimbursements will not be made for unused items due to venue limitations not communicated to Compass Formal.
Availability of Delivery
We will make every effort to deliver your products on time at the location requested. There are however, rare occasions when we may be unable to make the delivery due to physical limitations, safety concerns, or “force majeure”. If we are unable to deliver our products due to weather, or a factor within control of Compass Formal, the customer may choose to have the full cost of the order refunded or rescheduled to another date, dependent on the availability of Compass Formal. If Compass Formal is unable to deliver the products due a factor controlled by the customer, the customer will be charged in full and there will be no refund. Examples of factors controlled by customers that may result in no delivery are inaccessibility to the locale or delivery address, lack of access to a delivery address due to factors beyond our control (ie, a locked or secure property or a gated community where access is not permitted, etc.), an incorrect or insufficient address provided at the time of the order, or recipient unavailability. If there are issues delivering an order, we will do our best to contact the customer to sort out the issue in order to make the delivery.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that no damage occurs to the rented items while in use. Any damage incurred to products by Compass Formal employees during delivery, setup, or retrieval is the responsibility of Compass Formal, as are act of God disasters. Any damages inflicted to products by event attendees, venue, etcetera is the responsibility of the customer. Any breakages or damages must be paid for by the customer at full retail price. Further, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all rented products are available at the time of retrieval by Compass Formal. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that rental items are not lost, stolen, or taken home by one of their guests. Rental items not made available for pickup or returned by the prearranged date and time will incur additional daily rental fees for each additional day it remains out of Compass Formal's possession. If the rental items aren't returns within 7 days, or are returned broken, the credit card of the customer will be charged for the full retail cost.
All décor must be communicated to Compass Formal to preserve the consistency of the customer's event. Any décor for the event not provided by Compass Formal is not be guaranteed by Compass Formal even in cases where Compass Formal items are integrated. In such cases, any alterations deemed necessary will be made to preserve consistency and Compass Formal will be blameless.
Full payment is due at the time of booking. Cancellations made 6 months prior to the event will be refunded at 75% of the booking cost. Cancellations made 3 months in advance will be refunded at 50% of the booking cost. Cancellations made 1 month in advance of the event date will be refunded at 25% of the booking costs. Cancellations made less than one month from the event will not be refunded. Bookings can be postponed to another date, subject to our availability. A minimum of 1 months notice is required.
Any orders postponed must fall within 6 months from original event date booked. After 6 months, prices will be subject to change. Compass Formal reserves the right not to provide services or products or to cancel orders at our sole discretion at any time. Without limiting the operation of the Terms and Conditions, Compass Formal will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.
Photos taken by us of your arrangements remain our property. Our photos are not to be reproduced, copied or edited in any way by you or any third party without our prior permission in writing to do so. Any photos provided to us will only be used by us & as permitted by you. All photos on this site have the exclusive permission by its owner for use on this site. Photographers credits will only be displayed when provided.
Your order, wedding date, contact details (address, phone, email), & credit card details will be treated with complete privacy. We will not speak with any media representative or release any information unless you give us consent to do so. We will NEVER sell or give away your information as a way of generating revenue.

It is your responsibility to scan your computer for viruses. We take care to ensure all data transmissions are free from viruses, however cannot guarantee this. Use of our website is your responsibility, and we will not incur any loss for your inappropriate use of the site, or lack of knowledge with using the site. We will not be liable for any direct, indirect, accidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damage to you or anyone else, including (but not limited to) damages for product liability, personal injury or negligence resulting from the use of goods supplied to you or anyone on your behalf. You agree to indemnify & hold Compass Formal harmless from and against any and all claims, loss, or expense that may be incurred by Compass Formal which relate to or are incidental to the performance of its duties as described in these Terms & Conditions including all costs of defending itself against a claim by any other person and/or as a result of you taking any action or refraining to take any action or instituting or defending any action or legal proceeding. You further agree to indemnify and hold Compass Formal harmless from any claim made by any third party due to or arising from the use of this site, the violation of the Terms and Conditions by you, or the infringement by you, or other users of this site, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity. We reserve the right to change these Policies, Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. These Policies, Terms and Conditions will always be current, and override any prior Policies, Terms & Conditions provided in any other form.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach thereof,
shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in
accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules [including the Optional Rules for
Emergency Measures of Protection]. The arbitration hearing shall take place in Denver, CO before a single arbitrator. Judgment on the award rendered by the
arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
