Make the Most of Your Flower Budget

Make the Most of Your Flower Budget

April 25, 2019

One of the greatest benefits of using faux flowers for your wedding is that you get more bang for your buck! Often, you can have more blooms in your bouquets and pick more exotic flowers for the same price (or less) than you would pay for fresh flowers. Even so, here are some pro tips to make your floral budget go further!

Bouquets Make Beautiful Centerpieces

This is our top suggestion to all of our brides! You can reuse your bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces at the reception. Simply place empty vases on the head table or on the guest tables where you want the bouquets to go and after you’re done with photos, just place the bouquets into the vases! Or, if you’re going with greenery garland runners on the tables, you can lay bouquets flat on top to add pops of floral.

Arch Swag as a Backdrop

Arch swag or arch decor is the perfect way to spruce up your ceremony site. But it deserves more than five minutes of fame! If you have a way to hang it on a wall in the reception space, think about using the swag as decor behind the sweetheart or head table. Or, if you’re doing a DIY photo booth, you can incorporate your floral swag as part of the backdrop for that.

Flowers for Bridal Party Gifts

It’s becoming more common to provide gifts to your bridesmaids and groomsmen. Because faux flowers last beyond your wedding day, our boutonnieres and bouquets make great favors for your bridal party! Your guys can wear their boutonnieres for other black tie events and bridesmaid bouquets can be repurposed as centerpieces or other home decor pieces!

We know that during wedding planning, expenses add up fast, so every penny counts! By reusing ceremony arrangements at your reception, you ensure you’ll have beautiful decor throughout your wedding and get the most value from your flowers.
